The Ag Business Council of Rock County is more than an organization that meets once a month. We believe in being a catalyst for change through action by being involved in improving the industry we support.
Katie Purkapike visits dozens of classrooms each year and immerses more than 1,000 local youth with hands-on agriculture education
Rock County high school and college students are awarded with scholarship funds to further their education - thanks to generous donations and year-round fundraising efforts.
Members come together each Spring for our annual meeting to provide their input on Ag Business Council of Rock County initiatives. The meeting is followed by the Hall of Fame dinner to honor three individual who have contributed greatly to Rock County Agriculture.
During the Rock County 4-H Fair, our booth across from the beef barn is stocked with agriculture education experiences and activities to engage consumers and youth alike.
Everyone is invited to our annual industry tour which is organized to highlight a unique company or agriculture industry within Rock County.
Every summer, farmers and agribusiness partners get together for 18 holes of golf and networking. This event also serves as a fundraiser for our scholarship fund. Click here to sign up!

Started in the early 80’s, the Ag Business Council of Rock County has developed into an organization to propel agriculture forward in the community.
Our Ag Ambassador program has impacted more than 10,000 children in Rock County since its inception in 2013
