The Ag Business Council of Rock County Strives to engage and educate the public while elevating agriculture in Rock County, Wisconsin.

We exist to elevate agriculture in Rock County and to encourage broad community engagement and education surrounding agriculture - from field to table.
Our Programs
The Ag Business Council of Rock County is more than an organization that meets once a month. We believe in being a catalyst for change through action by being involved in improving the industry we support.
Rock county ag ambassador
Katie Purkapike visits dozens of classrooms each year and immerses more than 1,000 local youth with hands-on agriculture education
Scholaraships
Rock County high school and college students are awarded with scholarship funds to further their education - thanks to generous donations and year-round fundraising efforts.
Annual meeting and hall of fame dinner
Members come together each Spring for our annual meeting to provide their input on Ag Business Council of Rock County initiatives. The meeting is followed by the Hall of Fame dinner to honor three individual who have contributed greatly to Rock County Agriculture.
Fair promotions tent
During the Rock County 4-H Fair, our booth across from the beef barn is stocked with agriculture education experiences and activities to engage consumers and youth alike.
Industry tours
Everyone is invited to our annual industry tour which is organized to highlight a unique company or agriculture industry within Rock County.
farmer’s open
Every summer, farmers and agribusiness partners get together for 18 holes of golf and networking. This event also serves as a fundraiser for our scholarship fund. Click here to sign up!
AG MATTERS RADIO SHOW
Jim Raymond of the Rock County Ag Business Council hosts a weekly radio program that highlights unique local agriculture operations, Rock County events, agriculture trends and more!

The Ag Business Council of Rock County started back in the early 80’s as a way to promote agriculture in Rock County. In our 40 years as an organization, we have been able to grow and evolve into even more. We believe that the future of agriculture lies with our youth and to support that we have been able to fund of 60 scholarships towards their education.
